Aster A-640 Packet Broker provides a comprehensive Network Packet Brokering for 10/25/40/100 Gb/s links.
Designed with a 1U box, Aster A-640 provides the capability to interface network traffic with a single device, no matter if 10/25/40/100 Gbps interfaces are used, and to aggregate, filter and load balance towards the monitoring tools at different speeds.
A-640 implements Advanced Packet Manipulation (APM) functionalities, like Packet Slicing, Header Stripping, Timestamping and Tunnel Encapsulation/Decapsulation capabilities, to improve monitoring tools efficiency and send and get data to/from NFV infrastructure.

- Integrate the Packet Brokers Capture Fabric with your virtual network infrastructure, using Tunnel Encapsulation/Decapsulation capabilities to get data from NFV and to send data to virtual probes
- Improve tool efficiency through packet slicing and header stripping functionalities
- Feed the monitoring tools with the right data, by filtering the network traffic up to L4, using both inner and outer parameters
- High density solution with low power consumption: up to 32X100G ports in 1U space, with maximum power consumption limited to 550W
